Grab your bmx bike, skateboard, scooter or rollerblades and enjoy our skate bowl on Springs Road, just down the road from the museum. Tyres, tubes bikes, accessories, stickers and t-shirts can be purchased from Agnes Beach Bicycles next to the booking & information centre at the Caltex service station (Cnr Round Hill Rd & Captain Cook Drive)
Take your fishing rods or hand lines and catch yourself some dinner! Enjoy some of the best fishing on the East Coast of Australia. Rock fishing, surf fishing, estuary and reef fishing available either privately or through commercial operators.

Check out our beaches – south of Agnes beach and over the headland you will discover miles of secluded golden beaches, interesting little rock pools and some great camping spots! Watch the sunset from the Seventeen Seventy headland – one of the few places that you can see a sunset over the water on the East Coast of QLD.

GETTING HERE?> If you've been her a long time ago, you'll be pleasantly surprised that we now have sealed roads with easy access from the Bruce Highway. Drive via Bunderberg or Miriamvale if heading north. Drive via Gladstone if heading south.

FLYING Flights leave australian capital cities daily to Hervey Bay, Bundaberg & Gladstone. Hire cars are available from these airports. Agnes Water has a private airstrip for light planes to land by arrangement. We can arrange connecting flights with our local pilot if you require.
BUS Greyhound Australia has buses arriving and leaving several times daily
TRAIN Queensland Rail stops at Bundaberg, Miriamvale & Gladstone. The Tilt Train takes about 5 hours from Bisbane Transfers can be arranged. LESSONS AVAILABLE Kite Surfing - Several different packages for learning to kite-surf, from an introductory group lesson to intensive one-on-one training covering all levels from beginner to advanced with full certification are available from Kitesurf 1770 Stand Up Paddlesurfing - SUP-ing is available through 1770SUP and is a water sport for everybody and the fastest growing board sport in the world ... in that anyone can do it.
