Fishing Tours

Extended or live aboard fishing trips are the ultimate sports fishing holiday. With Coral Coast Game Fishing you will travel to remote reefs and coral atolls to fish waters rarely accessed by other fishermen. These trips generally run for either 2 or 3 days depending on the needs of the anglers, and of course the weather.

Vessel

“Vasco III” is our new 40 ft Blackwatch. This vessel has undergone a custom interior fit-out offering a unique layout designed specifically for day and extended charters. Powered by twin 500 Yanmar engines, she cruses comfortably at over 20 knots making it the perfect vessel to get anglers out to the reef quickly and comfortably to maximise fishing time.

On extended trips, long range fuel tanks and a 95lt per hour water maker ensure we can travel to the outer reef and live there comfortably, with fresh water for as long as planned. Fully fitted with a tuna tower, outriggers, game chair and top of the range electronics we can quickly find fish and target them correctly. In charter for 8 guests for day trips, and accommodation for 6 on extended trips this vessel is the ideal fishing and cruising platform.

Fishing Tackle

Both boats are fully equipped with top of the range rods and reels, with a variety of models to suit a number of different angling styles. Our day to day fishing gear is mainly Shimano TLD 25 and 15’s loaded with either mono or braid. These are matched with Garry Howard custom built rods. For Trolling we have a number of Taigra 30’s.

Daiwa Emblem Pro’s are used to throw poppers and slices at schools or Tuna while Daiwa Saltiga and Saltilist’s are used for the dirtier fighting species out on the reef.
