Where we Fish Off-Shore:

"Bustard Head" - rocks that surface out from 100ft of blue water, great fishing grounds for Mackerel, Tuna, Trevally, Snapper (in season) and also a great bottom fishing terrain.

"Cetacea" - a sunken trawler sitting in around 90ft of water. Great fishing all year for species such as Cobia, Tuna, Trevally, Cod, and the occasional reef species (if you can get through the many species of schooling Trevally!).

"Reef Fishing" - many deep water reef areas within 15 nautical miles of 1770 are prime fishing grounds. Try your luck at landing that Red Emperor or Coral Trout, not to mention the other abundant species, including Nannygai, Sweetlip, Cod, Cobia, Mackerel, Hussar, Parrot.

Private Charters

These day charters can be designed to suit your requirements, eg. If you wish to have the boat to yourself without any other people this would be the perfect charter for you.  The departure time and return time can be customised to suit you or your group.

The fishing time or type of fishing and destination can be customised to suit you as well.

If the scenery is what you came to see in our area, then we have many options for you to look at, eg. Bustard Head, Pancake Creek, Coastal cruising of 1770 and Agnes Water, see it as James Cook and his crew would have.

Departs Town of 1770 6am, Returns around 12pm   
Departs Town of 1770 1pm, Returns around 7pm
